Director: Tommy Young, Master Falconer, Ornithologist

Birds of Prey are Tommy's Passion!

Tommy is a frequent guest lecturer (with his birds at area Audubon meetings and schools.  He has been a falconer for 25 years.

As a master falconer, he teaches falconry to others and would like to someday add a falconry school to his center.  When a falconer flies a bird for its first year after birth, its chances of survival in the wild for more than 40 years increase from 20% to 8o%.

Here Tommy is making a presentation to a group
before releasing a rehabilitated owl.  He explains
exactly how he repaired its broken wing.
